Sometime, I wonder where Eve gets her rude remarks from. I know she doesn’t get it from her Dad. He doesn’t even know how to be sarcastically cut-throat with a passive aggressive tone. But Eve didn’t get it from me either.
The last time Eve went to her cousins' house, she told her Aunt Kim, “I’m really upset that I had to come to your house. I really don’t want to be here.” Yep, that was before she even said “hello”. So now a few weeks have passed and Kim is watching the kids again. As we pull into Kim’s driveway, I turn to talk to Eve. Me: Eve, when you go in there, you need to be respectful. Don’t go telling people that you don’t want to be there. That’s rude. Eve: …..(silence) Hubby: Eve, did you hear Mommy? You don’t need to be rude okay. Me: Yea, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Eve: Ok. Now fast forward 25 minutes of so and I receive this text (see picture)...Rude girl.

If you are a rude person, then we can never be friends. In my opinion, it is important to be respectful of your seniors. I mean, it does not take intelligence to know how true this is. If you are someone who cannot understand the importance of respect, then, brother, you need to start learning. Life is not about how rich you are, life will always go down to how much of a great person you are, that is all it.
