OMG!!!! It's finally happening. We have left the Dark Age of boys doing dumb stuff behind. No more thoughtless antics. No more sleepless nights spent wondering who will take care of me at my old age (because my kids have done some dumb things.) I no longer worry if there is something truly wrong with my child's reasoning skills. Nope nope nope....we are out of the Dark Ages. Aiden has been truly rocking it!!!!
School: Great grades. All A's and B's on his report card.
Robotics: Great!!! (Can't really elaborate because I don't understand it...very complex stuff with robots, drones, water, programming stuff.....)
Taekwondo: Amazing. He received lots of praise from the owner of ATA and nearly skipped belts!!!!
Boy Scouts: Oh he's killing it!!! Got a butt-load of badges that will take me months to sew on.
Home: Cool. He's keepin E3 (Elliott, Elijah, Eve) in check. Helping around the house too.
At the end of the day, sometimes he's tired. Really tired. Sometimes he doesn't want to go to his "extra curricular" activities, but he perseveres. Because in this house, it not about what you want to do, but what needs to be done.
How long will this last??? I don't know. Hopefully forever. I kinda enjoy not having to repeat myself thirteen thousand times a day. (It leaves more time for singing.) I like asking him to get something from another room and ACTUALLY getting the item I asked for. It's kinda nice.
A mom could get use to this.

These are simple letters to my kids...about their antics.
