![]() Take a look at this picture. Take a good, long look. Do you see this girl? She's in a t-shirt and pink princess heels. And before you say she "got that from her momma," let it be known.....I DON'T WALK AROUND THE HOUSE LIKE THAT!!!!!!!! This is NOT a learned behavior! My child has never seen me in stilettos with THAT much of my legs showing! I don't walk around the house in heels for fun like she does. (Now wedges are another thing...)But she is not getting that from me! So let me go ahead and answer you next question...Where did she get it from then??? She got it from herself. She's a person. She has preferences, attitude, likes and dislikes. She is a part of the human race and acts exactly how SHE feels like acting. It frustrates me sometimes when teachers say that they understand the student more after meeting the parents. So what are you saying about a student that licks glue off the desk???? Do you suppose that the parents are at home licking stuff off tables? (Don't answer that...just don't answer that....) It frustrates me even more when teachers get upset when parents say that their child does not act like that at home. What do you mean you don't believe the parent? Who are you to waste a lie on??? I had an educator once say that Elliott's behavior (standing in the middle of a room yelling to the top of his lungs for no reason) was a learned behavior. WTH you mean? You're telling me to my face that I 1) taught him that or 2) he's seen that at home. Its neither #1 or #2!!! It's #3, he's acting crazy and needs his a$% beat! (But ya'll can't do that at the daycare now can you?????) So people of the public, when you see my kids doing weird things, they didn't get it from home. It's simply who they are in raw form. They are giving you a glimpse into their childhood. And be happy you only get a glimpse or (8 hrs 5 times a week), because they don't give me glimpses, they give me full episodes. Oh, BTW, Aiden doesn't like chicken or fish! He didn't learn that from home!!!!!
